Clean Drinking Water Provided, Aid Packages Distributed to Flood Victims

In the wake of severe flooding, Hasene International, in partnership with the local organisation Society For Aid Programs (SAP), moved quickly to deliver essential aid to thousands of affected individuals. The emergency relief efforts, launched on August 2nd, focused on meeting the basic needs of those hardest hit by the disaster.


Muhammet Yasir Tarı, Hasene’s Bangladesh Country Representative, led the relief efforts alongside his team, overcoming the region’s challenging terrain by coordinating with local authorities to distribute supplies via boats and other available methods. Thousands of flood victims received vital provisions, including 5 liters of clean drinking water each. The aid packages, containing essential food items such as rice, oil, flour, lentils, salt and sugar, along with hygiene products, were distributed to those in need.


Hasene's Commitment to the Vulnerable Continues

Muhammet Tanrıkulu, Head of Hasene International’s Permanent Projects Department, highlighted the significance of the emergency aid provided to hundreds of families in the aftermath of the flood. He stressed the importance of this assistance for the local population and assured that Hasene will closely monitor ongoing efforts to improve living conditions. Tanrıkulu reaffirmed Hasene’s unwavering commitment to supporting the oppressed and afflicted.
